Internal Rules of “AUGUSTA” SPA Hotel

Check-in, check-out & use of extra services

1. The check-in takes place after 2:00 p.m. on the day of arrival.
2. If a request for an earlier hour of check-in is explicitly stated in the written reservation form, such an earlier arrival shall be guaranteed by an additional advance payment of 50% (fifty per cent) of the cost of the accommodation thereof.
3. Registration of all guests at the reception desk is mandatory and is made upon check-in with a valid ID document (ID card or international passport). A driving license is also acceptable.
4. At the check-in procedure, each guest receives a hotel passport that serves to him/her as an ID card during his/her stay.
5. Guests of the hotel who have a car can get a parking pass at the check-in – from the reception desk.
6. Payment is made on site, at the check-in – in cash (in Bulgarian leva) or via card (Visa, Mastercard).
7. Extra bed policy: An extra bed in a double room is placed upon request and is charged at the indicated prices. Additionally, guests (adults and children) can be accommodated without using an extra bed, at the indicated prices, as follows: in a Family room (4th guest in a Family room – on 1 of the 2 double beds), in a One-room apartment (3rd and 4th guest, on a sofa bed in the living room) and in a Two-room apartment (5th guest – on the sofa in the living room).
8. Children up to 5 years stay free of charge in the parents’ room and do not use a bed, with breakfast included (not including dinner). Children’s bed (basket) – BGN 10.00 per night.
9. Pet policy: guests with pets are accommodated in special pet friendly rooms and are charged 40,00 BGN per night.
10. The room is vacated by 12:00 o’clock on the day of check-out. Late check-out (until 5.00 p.m.) is charged with 50% of the room rate and is only possible if there is availability of free rooms. If the room is vacated after 5 p.m., it shall be charged as a full day of stay.
11. In case of earlier departure, the prepaid amount shall not be refunded.
12. Each time you leave the room, the key must be left at the reception. Upon departure, guests are required to inform the reception staff that they are vacating the room.
13. Overnight stay in the hotel of non-registered persons is prohibited.
14. The entrance door of the room is not automatic and must be locked off after each entry and leaving the room.
15. Room lighting can only be switched on when the keychain is inserted into the plastic slot on the wall, to the left of the door (illuminated in red). 30 sec. after its removal from the slot, the light goes out.
16. The hotel is not responsible for documents and valuables that are not left in the safe deposit box at the reception.
17. The hotel offers the following additional services against payment as per our price list: laundry, ironing, individual safe deposit boxes (at the reception) etc.
18. Breakfast begins at 07:30 a.m. and continues until 10:00 a.m. in the designated room of the restaurant, without the outside garden. Clients are admitted to the breakfast room only one time, subject of showing their hotel passport or access bracelet to the staff, which is marked in his/her presence in the schedule for the respective day. It is forbidden to take away food from the breakfast and dinner table. In case of a violation, we will charge you with a fine of 50.00 BGN. Bringing with you large bags at the breakfast room in the restaurant is not allowed.
19. Guests are not allowed to bring in and use their own electric heating or other types of heating appliances during their stay at the hotel.
20. Hotel guests must keep quiet during the afternoon and night hours (from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and from 11:00 m. until 07:00 a.m.).
21. It is strictly forbidden to bring in and keep highly flammable, explosive and hazardous substances in the hotel premises.
22. It is forbidden to take out any hotel property (towels, bathrobes, furnishing items, utensils, etc.) outside the hotel.
23. Hotel guests must comply with the generally accepted personal hygiene standards.
24. Smoking is strictly prohibited in all indoor parts of the hotel.
25. No ironing in hotel rooms is allowed.
26. The hotel guests are responsible for all damages caused to the hotel’s furnishings, equipment and inventory as well as for all missing items. All damages are paid by the hotel guests at prices set by the hotel.
27. Тhere is no warm connection between the two buildings of the hotel after 23:00.

Meals Policy

1. Breakfast starts at 07:30 and continues until 10:00. It is served in the form of a set menu or a buffet, without self-service.
2. Customers are admitted to the breakfast room, after showing their hotel passport or access bracelet, which is noted by the staff.
3. Dinner is served as set menu (drinks not included) for up to 50 people, or a buffet (drinks not included) for more than 50 people, without self-service.
4. For a set-menu dinner, guests choose from the restaurant’s menu (not including drinks), with the limit for an adult being BGN 40.00, and for a child up to 12 years old – BGN 30.00. In case the total amount of consumption exceeds the limit, guests pay the difference on the spot.
5. Guests with pre-arranged meals will have reserved seats.
6. All guests without pre-arranged meals can reserve a table in the restaurant depending on the amount of available seats left.
7. It is forbidden to take out food from the breakfast buffet, as well as during other meals. In the event of a violation, a fine of BGN 50.00 is imposed. Entering the restaurant with large bags during breakfast is not allowed.
8. It is prohibited to bring in the hotel food and drinks purchased from external sites.

Rules for using the pools

Rules for using the pool

1. Entry into the pool takes place through the changing rooms for women and men.
2. It is imperative to use beach slippers and swimming caps, as well as use of a shower before entering the pool (showers next to changing rooms). Persons not adhering to these rules will not be allowed to the pool.
3. Personal belongings shall be stored in the lockers in changing rooms.
4. In the event of an accident, seek the rescuer or duty attendant.
5. In order to enjoy the pool noisy jumps and shouting are not desirable.
6. It is strictly forbidden children’s pool to be used by adults.
7. The viewing of the covered pool shall take place only from the terrace of the coffee.
8. It is absolutely forbidden to bring food and alcoholic beverages to the pool.

Rules for using the children’s water slide

1. Sliding shall be done one by one after making sure that the pool under the slide is free from children sliding before you.
2. Do not increase the speed in order to touch water in the pool normally.
3. After sliding when you are in the pool under the slide, leave the pool as quickly as possible.
4. Climbing and jumping from the slider is not allowed.
5. The pool under the slide shall be used by sliders only.
6. The indoor pool shall be used by persons (children) up to 12 years of age.
7. Children under 10 years of age shall use the slider under parental control.

Recommended staying in the Jacuzzi – not more than 15 to 20 minutes.

Rules for using the SPA Center

Regulations for using of the sauna:

• We recommend a consultation with a cardiologist for all persons over 50 years old or persons who suffer illnesses.
• Using of the sauna after heavy meal or on an empty stomach is not recommended.
• We do not recommend you taking plenty of fluids before using the sauna.
• Using of the sauna from persons drunk alcoholic beverages is forbidden.
• Take of a shower before entering in the sauna and dry your skin with a towel, because perspiration of wet skin is more difficult.
• The most appropriate use of the sauna hours are: before noon, late afternoon or evening.
• Performing the procedure should be done in a supine position with stretched or bent legs. At first used the lower bank where the temperature is lowest. Prolonged use of the upper bank is not recommended due to the higher temperature.
• Performing of any exercise during sauna is not recommended.
• It is recommended to stay from 10 to 20 min. at constant air temperature of  80 Cᵒ – 100 Cᵒ or twice for 5 to10 min. with cooling with cold shower between both entries.
• Persons with heart disease and those suffering from hypertension have to use sauna with extreme caution under relieved terms – less time and at a lower temperature.
• Over the last 1 – 2 minutes of your staying, the visitor have to sit on bank or to let his feet down, to perform standing.
• In case that the air is too dry and you feel burning and irritation of the nose and trachea is necessary to sprinkle the hot stones with water.
• The body cooling must be carried out immediately after sweating over 2 to 3 min., by taking a cold shower.
• The number of entries is usually two in particular cases – three, but only if it aims to achieve a greater effect.
• Rest in the supine position after the sauna is mandatory. It should last no less than 20 to 30 minutes.
• To satisfy your thirst after sauna for refreshment and compensation loss of fluids, you can take low-calorie fruit juices, and if weight reduction is needed – mineral water or unsweetened teas.
• The use of essential oils in the sauna is prohibited.
• The use of towels for sitting on the benches is required
• The hotel Management does not take any responsibility for documents and valuables not saved at the reception desk’s safety boxes.
• Storage and bringing in of flammables, explosives and other dangerous substances and materials at the hotel and SPA Centre is strictly forbidden.
• Taking out of the hotel’s territory of all types of hotel’s properties (towels, dressing gowns, inventory, equipment, etc.) is not allowed.
• The hotel’s guests must comply with accepted standards of personal hygiene.
• Smoking in all enclosed areas in the hotel is strictly prohibited.
• For security reasons it is not appropriate to leave unattended children up to 10 years in hotel rooms and in hotel‘s general areas (lobby, restaurant, lobby bar, SPA center, swimming pools and children’s water slide, etc.). The hotel is not responsible for persons using the facilities in children playroom and outdoor playground unattended.
• Hotel guests are responsible for all damages caused on furniture, equipment and inventory of the hotel as well as case of missing part of it. All damages are paid by guests at the prices set by the hotel

Rules for use of the children’s zone

1. For security reasons, it is not appropriate to leave without supervision children under the age of 18 in the hotel rooms and in the hotel’s common areas (lobby, restaurant, lobby bar, SPA center, swimming pools and children’s water slide, etc.).
2. The use of the children’s corner for children up to 12 years of age is carried out in the presence of a parent or companion. The hotel is not responsible for unaccompanied persons using the facilities in the children’s area.
